To Book a Session:
If you would like to schedule a session, please visit the “contact” page and fill the form out or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell me a bit about what you would like and what time frame you are hoping for. I will respond and we can figure out a date and I will mail you a copy of my contract.
I recommend you booking your session at least one month before your desired date (the sooner the better!)
To book your session, I require 50% of the session fee (via check) and a signed copy of my contract. These both can be mailed to me.
Before Your Session:
After you have a date, start thinking about what type of location you’d like. Don’t worry if you have no idea where to pick—that’s what I’m here for! I can offer you lots of suggestions based on your preferences.
Then, start thinking about what to wear! This is a really important part of photos, so take your time and don’t leave it till the last second (otherwise you’ll be stressed!). Feel free to browse my “What to Wear” page on Pinterest to gather some inspiration! I also love to help! You are more than welcome to email me a picture of your outfit choices and I will offer feedback.
Portrait sessions are held on location and typically last 1-2 hours. This can be at your home or at a location of your choosing. As long as it is a place where we can play and your child can be themselves. Newborn sessions are held at the convenience of your home and tend to last 2-3 hours.
After Your Session:
You can expect a preview on my Facebook page ASAP! This is the fun part! I will also do a blog post when the rest of the session is ready for a preview. Once I’m done editing (2-3 weeks after your session) I will send you an e-mail with a link to a gallery where you can view your images and purchase any if you’d like. You may also then download your digital files from the gallery and print at the location of your choice (but stay away from places like Walmart, Target, and Walgreens—the print quality is horrible! Go with mpix.com or a local printing shop).
